As in years past, the Sunday School coordinated the Easter Luminaria this year for the Holy Saturday evening service on April 27. This year, seventy bags were sold in honor or in memory of loved ones. The net proceeds were almost $425 for our Sunday School. Because of the heavy rains this year, adjustments were made by our "top notch" team (Michael Winowich and David, Milo, and Lily Vignovic) to move the luminaria out of the weather and under the front entrance area. And luckily the "team" used electric tealight candles to ensure there would be light no matter what the wind conditions! A special thank you to David Milkovich for supplying the materials and, of course, to that "top notch" team! Those smaller hands were perfect for the job!
