IOCC Health Kits

On Saturday, February 9, a large group of our Church School contingency participated in the IOCC’s Health Kit creation project at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Mt. Lebanon. Over 650 health kits were assembled for distribution to people in need, both domestically and internationally. The kits consisted of bags with toothpaste, soap, towels, washcloths, combs, and other items. We also sat and enjoyed one another’s company over some homemade soup available as part of their International Soups fundraiser.

Thanks to the following students for participating: Sara and Una Banovic, Emilija Kurtesevic, Caitlin and Mila Kosanovich, Natasha and Stefan Stakic, Rade and Milo and Lilianna Vignovic, Karina Volitich and Jelena, Milana, Nadia and Stevan Winowich. Plus one friend that tagged along from Tammies!!! Parents helped with the cause by packing, taping, stacking, and photographing. And, of course, soupmakers (and Sunday School teacher) Danielle Opacic and Maria Stanojevic were busy. Thanks to parents Kara Kosanovich and Dana Winowich for getting our church school organized to participate for the second year in a row.
